The hearth is 24 x 25 inches deep and stands 46 inches high. It is mounted on heavy-duty swivel wheels, which can be locked. This is a professional forge, which can achieve welding temperature in a matter of minutes from first lighting. It has a powerful 230-240v blower with thermal cut out. It is a very quiet 72db and fitted with a 13amp plug.

The Large Portable Forge is a powerful small Forge. Ideal for farriers and Blacksmiths alike. It has 4 good quality swivel wheels to allow you to move the gorge around to suit.
It comes with an English made quality 460w motor, complete with adjustable slide control, cooling trough and tong rail. We make a hood or canopy that can be purchased and used straight away or alternatively install at a later date.
